No Dumping is a Registered Trust under the Indian Trust Act 1882.

We are No Dumping and we envision creating cities without dumpsites. Our mission is to encourage segregation of waste at source, facilitate its transportation, process it and dispose it safely and scientifically. And we are on our way to accomplishing this mission by striving to achieve the following objectives.

  • To facilitate sustainable waste management processes such as vermicomposting, bio composting, biogas production and green space development and encourage research studies on environmental conservation.
  • To bridge the gap between health, sanitation and livelihood opportunities for the urban poor through environmental education.
  • To work extensively towards creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the urban poor through vocational training with assured job placements and green entrepreneurship.
  • To sensitize urban citizens about the extent of environmental degradation caused by rapidly changing lifestyles and mindless uncontrolled urbanization.
  • To educate students of schools and colleges, employees of public and corporate sector on environmental issues and how to tackle them through interactive seminars, hands-on activities and pro-active workshops.
  • To strive, achieve and maintain the highest standards of excellence for practice, competence and conduct in the waste management and recycling industry.
  • To provide a platform for the members of the society to come together, identify and address their environmental concerns.
  • To promote waste reduction, recycling and reuse and recovery; and create public awareness on the waste management and recycling industry as well as environmental and industry concerns.
  • To make possible networking and exchange of information and to foster a closer relationship between members of the government, industry and the beneficiary community.
  • To build the abilities and strengthening the skills of the staff involved with improved SWM expertise.
  • To integrate and align the efforts of unorganized waste collection system through transfer of knowledge, skill and training to communities.
  • To enable an ecosystem of stakeholder engagement, participation and contribution.
